SMSA is proud of the calibre of our young umpires. The better trained the umpire the more he or she can handle the role and have fun at the same time. Umpiring is a paid position. New and returning umpires will benefit from our Umpire Clinic conducted by Softball Ontario instructors. SMSA will also pay for umpires to obtain Advanced Certification Levels as well.
