In response to huge public outcry over the decision to delay everyone's ball season until May 12th, the City of Ottawa has been forced to take action. As of April 28th, City crews were reassigned and were instructed to "work around the clock" to try to get the ball diamonds ready for use.
Accordingly, Stittsville Minor Softball will be scheduling exhibition games for teams during the week of May 5th to the 9th....with the official game schedule beginning Sunday, May 11th.

We are an enthusiastic and growing community sports organization supported by the parents and children of Stittsville. We endeavour to promote healthy physical activity, good sportsmanship, team work, and fun for the young people in our community. We field teams for both boys and girls at all levels through our Fun League (ages 5 to 8) and our House League (ages 9 to 20). We are proud to say that enrollment has grown over the past several years. Softball is alive and well in Stittsville and we hope you will come out and join us.
