Are you between the ages of 13 - 18 and looking for a fun way to make some money this spring/summer?  If yes, you should really consider umpiring!!   

Stittsville Minor Softball is looking to recruit several new umpires for the upcoming kids softball season.  The games are played on ball diamonds all around Stittsville.  The season typically plays in May and June, and most games are either weeknights at 6:30pm, or on the weekends.   

Training and certification for all umpires is provided by the SMSA, thru our Umpire Clinic.   All necessary equipment to umpire is also provided by the SMSA.  Midway thru the season, we even offer a free refresher umpiring course for those who really want to improve their skills.

Most umpires earn up to $55 per game, depending on their experience level, and depending on if they are in charge of home plate or the bases.
